I’m just a happy customer who loves the product. Standard disclaimer, I receive no financial considerations and have no business affiliation with IDM (who makes UltraEdit). I’ve been using it since version 4, and am a happy camper. I’d bet after you try it you’ll be so hooked you’ll happily shell out the forty bucks. You can use it for 45 days with no issues. UltraEdit is the one tool I use every day. This is a feature I haven’t seen in any other text editor in a long time.

There are far more options than I can document here, but I’ll list a few of my favorites. You can also see I have a column of text highlighted, the Application namespace.
